Auto suppliers to grow, open

Frankfort: Two auto suppliers are expanding in or coming to Kentucky:

• INFAC North America Inc. on Friday celebrated the completion of its $6.5 million manufacturing expansion project in Campbellsville. The company will add 20 new, full-time employees to its operation as a result of the growth. INFAC was established in 1969 in South Korea and specializes in automotive components such as mechanical control cables, solenoids, antennas and horns for General Motors, Chrysler, Hyundai and Kia.

• Tegrant Diversified Brands Inc., owned by Sonoco Products Co., plans to establish a manufacturing operation in Shelbyville. The company, a manufacturer of foam-based and safety products for the automotive industry, will create 51 full-time jobs and invest more than $12 million in the project With locations already in Louisville, Winchester, Morganfield and Henderson, Sonoco has more than 250 employees in Kentucky.
