TV newsman Anderson Cooper will talk at UK Monday

CNN’s Anderson Cooper, possibly America’s most well-recognized broadcast news reporter, will present a lecture, “From the Front Lines,” about his work reporting from Hurricane Katrina, the Iraq War and the Haiti earthquake, at 8 p.m. Monday at the University of Kentucky’s Memorial Coliseum, 201 Avenue of Champions.

Tickets are $15 through Ticketmaster,   or 1-800-745-3000. Tickets are free for UK students, faculty and staff, and are available at the Student Involvement Ticket Center in the Student Center.
