Democrats launch phone campaign blaming Andy Barr for government shutdown

Washington Democrats are launching an automated phone call campaign against U.S. Rep. Andy Barr, R-Lexington, for his role in the federal government shutdown.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) gave the Lexington Herald-Leader a first look Tuesday at calls that will go out in the district targeting the first-term congressman.
