Deputy sheriff jailed in Bowling Green, charged in federal court with selling steroids

Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputy William "Billy" Rice has been charged with federal drug crimes and has been fired. Taylor County Sheriff Allen Newton said he was informed at 10 a.m. Tuesday by Kentucky State Police that Rice was being arrested. Rice was arrested in Campbellsville and transported to a jail in Bowling Green. He has been charged with selling steroids.
