Lexington police are looking for the driver of a gray Dodge Neon who ran away after crashing into another vehicle Saturday night.

The man, who police were still trying to identify Saturday night, lost control while driving inbound on Russell Cave Road near Faith Street at about 8:30 p.m., said Lt. Hunter Faulconer of the Lexington police.

After the Neon collided with an outbound vehicle, its driver got out and ran down the railroad tracks toward Broadway, he said.

The woman driving the other vehicle was not taken to the hospital, although she did have a minor injury to one arm because of the airbag deployment, Faulconer said.

The driver who ran will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

Faulconer said both vehicles sustained "pretty severe damage."
