A man showed up Tuesday at the University of Kentucky Hospital with at least one gun shot wound to the upper torso, Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.

The man, who arrived in a Dodge Durango sport utility vehicle, is currently being treated for his wounds. Roberts would not identify the man. She said investigators will question the man after he has been treated.

Investigators think the man was involved in a shooting with someone in a white car, Roberts said. There were also reports of those same vehicles driving recklessly down Ross Avenue, which runs off of Fourth Street.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call Lexington Division of Police at (859) 258-3600.
