Eagle Scout: Brandon Barlow earns Eagle Scout award

Brandon William Barlow of Lexington has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank a Boy Scout can earn. Brandon's Court of Honor was held Sept. 16 at Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church.

Brandon is a member of Troop 100, sponsored by South Elkhorn Christian Church. Brandon, 15, is a sophomore at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and is the son of Agnes Donahue and Brad Barlow of Lexington.

For his leadership service project, Brandon and his troop constructed a fire pit and benches for the youth group at Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church.
