Wise Dan jogs day after final workout

Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Horse of the Year Wise Dan stretched his legs Saturday morning at Keeneland the day after what was his final workout before the Breeders' Cup.

The defending Breeders' Cup Mile winner, trained by Charles LoPresti, went around Keeneland's training track twice with exercise rider Damien Rock. The jog came the day after the 6-year-old gelding worked four furlongs in 47 2/5 seconds and galloped out five furlongs in 1:00.

"Damien said he was full of himself this morning," LoPresti said. "That was a good work for him yesterday and that will be it for him (as far as works)."

Owned by Morton Fink, Wise Dan is scheduled to ship to Santa Anita on Oct. 29.
