Coming up: Angel Terrace, winner of the 2012 Pin Oak Valley View Stakes at Keeneland, is one of two entrants trained by Jonathan Sheppard entered in Sunday's Rood and Riddle Dowager Stakes. A field of 10 is scheduled to go to post in the 11/2-mile turf race with Kissable the 7-to-2 pick on the morning line.

Final furlong

■ Jockey Mario Pino, who has ridden 6,560 winners, scored his first Keeneland win aboard Jamraa in the day's fifth race.

■ Two-time Grade III Phoenix Stakes winner Sum of the Parts worked a half-mile in :50.60 under jockey Leandro Goncalves on the main track at Keeneland Saturday in preparation for his start in the Breeders' Cup Sprint at Santa Anita. Sum of the Parts is slated to ship to Santa Anita on Oct. 29.

■ Trainer Charlie LoPresti said reigning Horse of the Year Wise Dan jogged twice around the Keeneland training track early Saturday morning under exercise rider Damien Rock. Morton Fink's homebred gelding worked a half mile in :47.40 Friday as he readies for a title defense in the Breeders' Cup Mile. "Damien said he was full of himself this morning," LoPresti said. "That was a good work for him yesterday and that will be it for him (as far as works)." Wise Dan is also scheduled to ship to Santa Anita on Oct. 29.
