Ward rolls 300, misses 800 series by a pin

Justin Ward came up one pin shy of an 800 series and was one of three local bowlers to post a perfect game recently.

Justin Ward sandwiched a perfect game between games of 265 and 234 for a 799 in the Aroundtown League at Collins Bowling Centers-Southland on Oct. 10. He had a shot at the 800 on his last ball in the 10th frame of the third game, but he left the 10 pin and missed out on the spare.

Clay Spradlin rolled a 789 series on the strength of a 300 in the Strike Force League at Southland on Oct. 3.

Justin Lewis rolled a 300 on Oct. 8 in the Beltline League at Southland.
