Franklin County: Frankfort Audubon Society requests bird photos

The Frankfort Audubon Society is in the process of developing educational signs for visitors and teachers for the Frankfort Audubon Arboretum in Juniper Hill Park. The society is requesting that the public send in pictures for use on signs and the society's website. Photos used will include credit to the photographer.

Email pictures to along with the photographer's name, and if you know it, the date the photo was taken and the general location of the photo.

The society is requesting pictures for the following species: Wild Turkey, American Crow, Blue Jay, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Northern Flicker, Carolina Chickadee, American Robin, Eastern Bluebird, Gray Catbird, Brown Thrasher, Eastern Towhee, Cedar Waxwing, American Goldfinch, White-breasted Nuthatch, Eastern-Screech-Owl Summer or Scarlet Tanager, and any vireo or warbler. Additionally, Luna or Regal Moth pictures are requested.
