Woodford County: Library offers Fit for Fall Health Fair Saturday

Woman's Club learns of Alzheimer's advances The Woodford County Woman's Club held a general meeting Oct. 2. The Woodford County Library's Fit for Fall Health Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the main library in downtown Versailles. Offerings will include health screenings, informational displays and prize drawings for adults and children. The Woodford County Health Department will offer flu shots for $20; Bluegrass Community Hospital will conduct blood pressure, bone density and fat analysis screenings; and Kentucky Voices for Health will answer questions about the nation's new health care law. This event is free and no registration is required.
