2 charged with murder in Clinton County slaying

Two people were arrested Sunday and charged with murder after a body was discovered under a trailer in Albany, police said.

Andrea M. Byler, 21, and Michael E. Thompson, 52, both of Albany, were being held at the Clinton County Jail, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.

The body of Jimmy Sidwell Jr., 19, of Adolphus, was found Saturday. An autopsy determined he died from multiple stab wounds to the chest, police said.

Detective Ricky Brooks is investigating.
