Eagle Scouts: Ward, Pawsat awarded rank of Eagle Scout

The following have been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank a Boy Scout can earn:

â–  Christopher Ward is a member of Troop 73, sponsored by Centenary Methodist Church. Christopher, age 16, is a junior in the pre-engineering program at Lafayette High School. He is the son of Julie and Ashley Ward of Lexington. For his leadership service project, Christopher organized the planting of about 70 trees on the Legacy Trail near the Spindletop spur.

â– Alec T. Pawsat is a member of Troop 221 sponsored by Jamie Collins. Alec, age 18, is a freshman at Maysville Community and Technical College. He is the son of Stephanie and Marc Pawsat of Maysville. For his leadership service project, Alec refurbished the picnic shelter behind the Maysville YMCA. During his Eagle Scout ceremony, Alec was also awarded the rank of Kentucky Colonel.
