Domidion named director of the year

Jerry Domidion, director of Jessamine County Emergency Medical Services, has been named 2013 EMS Director of the Year by the Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association East Region. The East Region is comprised of 22 counties, including all of Central Kentucky. Domidion's tenure with Jessamine County Emergency Services began in 1996 as a paramedic. His accomplishments include implementing one of the first high school safety programs in the state, introducing a cost-effective billing system, and creating an efficient preventative maintenance program for trucks and equipment. Dress up, eat lots of candy and participate in a costume contest, all while listening to beguiling music and watching a classic horror film. The Wesley Hand Bell Choir and Jazz Ensemble from Asbury University will perform a diverse program of music ranging from sacred to classical to big band at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wilmore Senior Community Center at Wesley Village, 1125 Lexington Road.
