Golf benefit attracts celebrities, raises $11,000

The golf tournament, Folds in the Fairway, benefitting the Folds of Honor Foundation, was held Oct. 14 at Old Bridge Country Club in Danville.

Special guests included John Michael Montgomery; Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry from Montgomery Gentry; Dakota Meyer, Medal of Honor recipient; Fred Noe, master distiller for Jim Beam Brands, Maj. Ed Pulido U.S. Army (Ret.) from the Folds of Honor Foundation; and Ira Dean from Trick Pony.

The event raised more than $11,000 for the Folds of Honor Foundation, which gives back to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to their country. For more information, go to Foldsofhonor.org.
