A Lextran bus, an SUV and a car collided Monday at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Constitution Street, apparently when the driver of the car or SUV ran a red light, Lexington police Lt. Eric Lowe said.

The SUV overturned, and two women were removed from the vehicle, but neither was injured, he said.

Lowe said the bus wasn't hit hard but three passengers complained of injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Police received a call about the accident at 5:50 p.m. The investigation is continuing.
