Shipping company to expand

Frankfort: XPO Logistics Inc., one of the fastest-growing providers of transportation logistics services in North America, will expand its Louisville operation, Gov. Steve Beshear announced Friday.

The company is establishing a logistics center on South Fourth Street that will result in 120 new jobs and a nearly $2.7 million investment, the Kentucky Press News Service reported. XPO Logistics has operations in 89 locations in the United States and Canada.
