Five University of Kentucky players were among the 16 players named Friday to the All-Southeastern Conference pre-season men's basketball teams voted on by the league's coaches.

Freshman forward Julius Randle was named to the eight-player first team.

Sophomore forwards Willie Cauley-Stein and Alex Poythress were named to the second team, along with freshman guards Andrew Harrison and James Young.

Seven schools are represented on the two teams with Kentucky's five selections the most. Tennessee had three and Florida, LSU and Missouri each had two selections.
