Business closings, openings and anniversaries: Week of Nov. 11

Missy's Pie Shop, which has been located at 201 Woodland Avenue for more than two decades and attached to Ramsey's on High Street, has moved across the street to 502 East High Street.

The move allows Missy's to have a larger, more modern and more efficient location. The new location has seating for customers who want have a piece of pie and coffee in the store. Missy's still offers carryout.

Store hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily. Barbara Pollitt remains the store manager and Missy's still bakes all pies served at all Ramsey's diners. Find out more about Missy's Pies at or call (859) 253-0449.

Andy Weber, a long-time Lexington resident and former president of Danville-based AdMart Custom Signage, has purchased New Hampshire-based BranchXpress, through his company OnSite Impact.

BranchXpress specifically focuses on the design and construction of financial institutions and on the merchandising within the branch. OnSite Impact provides design and merchandising services to retailers, financial institutions and other specific consumer and service markets. Find out more at or
