Lexington electronic monitoring company buys Nebraska firm

Corrisoft, a Lexington company that specializes in electronic monitoring for criminal justice, has bought a similar company, iSECUREtrac of Omaha, Neb.

Corrisoft distributes products in 34 states and Mexico and has 100 employees in the Bluegrass. The company said in a news release that it is the nation's fifth-largest electronic monitoring company.

Corrisoft provides products for participants requiring monitoring for probation, pretrial supervision and home incarceration. Its products are used in 71 Kentucky counties, according to the news release.
