At least three key players will not be making the trip to Georgia with Kentucky this weekend.

Freshman defensive end Jason Hatcher and sophomore cornerback Cody Quinn have been suspended for Saturday's game for a "violation of team rules," UK spokesman Evan Crane said.

Wide receiver and leading punt returner Demarco Robinson has been "suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules," Crane said.

After rumors swirled much of the day on Thursday about potential suspensions and even dismissals from the program, Kentucky confirmed the three suspensions about 6 p.m.

When pressed about the potential suspensions or even dismissals of several other players, Crane said UK will have "no comment on that at this time."

Hatcher, a former Louisville Trinity star and one of the jewels of Coach Mark Stoops' first recruiting class, has played in eight games and has 15 tackles.

Quinn, touted early in the season as potentially UK's best defensive back, has played in eight games and is 12th on the team in tackles with 26. He missed games this season while battling a nagging high ankle sprain.

Robinson, the team's third-leading receiver with 20 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns, also returns punts for the Cats with 11 for 114 yards (10.4 average).

NEXT GAME: Kentucky at Georgia
