State high school football: Updates from Sunday's championship game

Bowling Green vs. Pulaski County

Kickoff: 3 p.m. (EST) Sunday

Cantrall ratings: Bowling Green 92.0; Pulaski County 77.1

Numbers game: Bowling Green is averaging 43.7 ppg and giving up 13.6; Pulaski County is averaging 41.7 and giving up 18.6.

History lesson: Bowling Green, on a 43-game winning streak, is going for its third title in a row and fourth overall. Pulaski County is in the finals for the first time.

Bowling Green leaders: Devin Hayes has thrown for 3,101 yards, 41 TDs. His top target is Nacarius Fant who has 78 catches, 1,599 yards, 23 TDs. Blue Tisdale has run for 963 yards, 22 TDs. Blake Pillow has 1,037 yards, 17 TDs rushing and receiving. Linebacker Lincoln Quick leads the team in tackles.

Pulaski County leaders: Sophomore Riley Hall has passed for 2,760 yards, 34 TDs, and run for 886 yards, 5 TDs. Caleb Cox has run for 961 yards, 5 TDs. Aaron Smith has run for 868 yards, 21 TDs. Jake Johnson has 81 catches, 953 yards, 11 TDs. George Gregory has 47 catches, 895 yards, 10 TDs. Jacob Denney has 7 interceptions. Austin Cornett and Christian Holman lead the team in tackles.
