Lexington police are looking for a man who allegedly ran over another man with a car before stabbing him.

The attack happened about 7:15 p.m. Sunday outside an apartment in the 2800 block of Winter Garden Drive, police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.

Roberts said two men and a woman were inside the apartment when the men got into an argument.

She said the altercation moved outside, where one of the men got into a vehicle and struck the other. The ddriver then allegedly got out of the vehicle and stabbed the other man several times before driving away.

The victim, whose named was not released, was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries, Roberts said.
