Corbin man charged with drug trafficking

A Corbin man has been charged with first-degree drug trafficking, according to a Laurel County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities said they arrested Dewey Bowling Jr., 61, after finding firearms, money and numerous prescription medications at his home on Monday. The arrest came after police investigated reports of oxycodone purchases in the area.

Bowling was being held at the Laurel County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
