Keep fingers free but warm in a pair of fingerless gloves from the Gap, $14.95.

You want to keep fingers toasty through winter but need your digits free for texting or tapping on that new smartphone or tablet you snagged over the holidays.

One solution is fingerless gloves or wrist warmers. You'll find them in a colorful, chunky woven style at Gap for $14.95. At Target, Mossimo men's offers a pair in green camo for $12.74. The matching camo beanie also is $12.74. (Bonus: Prices might have been marked down now that Christmas has passed.)

For something a little more unique, try a hand-knitted design. The amazing array of styles at Etsy.com includes long, elegant crochet gloves, $43, that reach almost to the elbows from Initasworks, Etsy.com/shop/initasworks).

Other designs from this shop feature hombre hues blended along the glove, such as beige to purple or black to orange.
