Couple accused of stealing during open houses

A Villa Hills couple was arrested Dec. 20 after police said they led a wide-ranging scam around the region stealing items from homes while posing as prospective homebuyers.

Joshua Petroze, 33, and Kristin Manning, 28, are facing a litany of charges after they were arrested at their Villa Hills residence last week. Both are being held at the Kenton County Detention Center.

Delhi Township police Lt. Joe Macaluso said based on reports from homeowners, the pair stole at least $50,000 worth of jewelry, coins, cash, flatware and other items.
