Babylon Market near Eastern Kentucky University is robbed

Richmond police are looking for a man after an armed robbery near Eastern Kentucky University on Thursday night.

The man robbed Babylon Market on 298 South Second Street in Richmond around 8:30, according to Marc Whitt, EKU associate vice president of public relations.

The man was described as white, in his late 30s, with some grey facial hair, wearing a grey toboggan cap, a hunter-green hoodie and black gloves. The man was carrying a black handgun and was last seen running towards Wellington Avenue. Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
