Business awards: Week of Jan. 6

■ Total Landscape Care named Andrea Wilson Mueller and Michael Mueller, owners of Inside Out Design in Frankfort, Kentucky, the 2014 Landscapers of the Year. Presented by Case Construction Equipment, this annual program recognizes the 12 best landscapers across the country, and the Muellers were selected as the best of those top landscapers.

Inside Out Design and the Mueller's will be featured in the January issue of Total Landscape Care magazine.

Baptist Health Home Care Lexington has been named a Top Agency of the 2013 HomeCare Elite™, a recognition of the top-performing home health agencies in the country.

The HomeCare Elite identifies the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified agencies and highlights the top 100 and top 500 agencies overall.

Engineered Heating and Air has earned the 2013 Angie's List Super Service Award in recognition of the company's consistently high level of customer service

"Only about 5 percent of the companies Engineered Heating and Air competes with in Central Kentucky are able to earn our Super Service Award," said Angie's List Founder Angie Hicks in a press release.

■ The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) recently honored Community Trust Bank, Inc.'s Bob Watson as a member of the Kentucky Small Business Administration's All-Star Team. Watson closed 19 loans for $670,800 in the federal fiscal year 2012-2013, earning him the All-Star honor for the fifth consecutive year. Watson is Commercial Loan Officer with Community Trust Bank in Versailles.

Erin West has been awarded the Lexington Public Library's Joseph H. Miller Customer Service Award, sponsored by Community Trust Bank.

■ The Mortgage Bankers Association of the Bluegrass has presented these individuals with the following awards:

Wilma Langfels, loan officer at Thoroughbred Lending Company: Mortgage Banker of the Year.

Wayne Thompson, CMB, loan officer for Walden Mortgage Group: selected to the Mortgage Bankers Hall of Fame.

James Monroe Homes, a residential building company, has received the following awards from the Lexington Homebuilders Association: Green Build Project of the Year Energy Smart Builder of the Year Builder of the Year
