Driver licensing office in Lexington reopens Wednesday

The Kentucky driver licensing office, and Kentucky State Police and Department of Transportation offices, which were closed Tuesday, will be open Wednesday.

The offices, on the second floor of Lexington's county clerk office at 162 East Main Street, closed because of a failed heating system.

Vincent Riggs, the circuit court clerk administrator who oversees the licensing operation, said that office's employees were sent home because of a broken boiler.
