Woodford notes: Jan. 8

January 7, 2014

Boy Scout Chauncey Hill of Mortonsville tried one of the benches he helped build as part of his Eagle Scout service project.

Members of Boy Scout Troop 1784 recently built period-correct outdoor benches for the Jack Jouett House Historic Site in Versailles. The benches were placed in the cemetery, beside the herb garden, in the picnic area, and along the native tree walk trail, contributing greatly to the convenience and comfort of site visitors.
