The First Watch chain plans to open a third restaurant in Lexington this spring.

The 3,700-square-foot restaurant will be in Hamburg, just off Interstate 75 and Winchester Road. It will feature a patio for outdoor dining, interior design focused on natural lighting, and an open-kitchen plan.

The Hamburg-Winchester Road First Watch is a part of a multi-unit franchise agreement with Holland Rosen Group, announced in 2011, to open eight restaurants in Lexington and Louisville by 2016.

Lexington's first First Watch opened at Richmond Road and Man o' War Boulevard in September 2012; a second store opened last summer on South Broadway.

The menu for the Bradenton, Fla.-based chain features traditional favorites including pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches served 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. seven days a week.
