Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association aids charities with nearly $1,500 in checks During its year-end meeting at the Agriculture Learning Center, the Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association showed its support for local charitable organizations with check presentations totaling nearly $1,500. Groups recognized included the Salvation Army, Manna Ministry, Camp Nelson Honor Guard, Jessamine County Food Pantry, High Bridge Community Center, Bluegrass Community Action and Jessamine County Cancer Buddies. E-book open house planned for Wednesday at library

Learn how to download library e-books to your computer, e-reader, smartphone or tablet from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Jessamine County Public Library, 600 South Main Street, Nicholasville. Patrons may drop in any time during the two-hour open house session for one-to-one assistance. Register online at Jesspublib.org or call (859) 885-3523. Saint Joseph open house Thursday

In honor of its fifth anniversary, the Saint Joseph Jessamine RJ Corman Ambulatory Care Center will hold an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the lobby at 1250 Keene Road, Nicholasville. The community is invited to the celebration which will include music, food, photo boards and story sharing.
