High school basketball highlights: West Jessamine boys rally past LCA

West Jessamine trailed Lexington Christian by as many as 15 points before Daulton Peters scored with 3:38 to go to give the Colts the lead for good in the visiting Colts' 70-62 victory. The Eagles, who had won seven straight games, were outscored by 14 in the fourth quarter.

Peters finished with 27 points, 12 rebounds and three assists, and Will Henderson had 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Drew Trimble led Lexington Christian with 22 points and Matt Rose had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

■ Three Cardinals scored 20 or more and Scott County, second in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, won 82-65 at Woodford County. Tony Martini led the way with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Trent Gilbert and Teddy Ware scored 20 apiece. Grayson Graf scored a team-high 19 points and also had five rebounds for the Yellowjackets.

Girls' highlights

■ Nannilena White led five Lady Flyers in double figures with 16 points in No. 4 Franklin County's 73-40 win at Frankfort.

■ Henry Clay's T'Laya Kyvern scored 21 points to go with eight rebounds and six steals in Henry Clay's 64-59 victory at Scott County. Audriana Christopher had 23 points for the Lady Cardinals.

■ Makenzie Cann scored 23 points and Eriel McKee added 17 points and 12 rebounds in No. 2 Anderson County's 84-47 win at home against Mercer County.

■ Dai'Jia Ruffin had 20 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists in No. 3 Sacred Heart's 58-47 win at Notre Dame.
