Need help?

Lexington officials said that people in need of emergency shelter can go to the Hope Center for Men at 360 West Loudon Avenue; the Salvation Army Shelter for Women and Children, 736 West Main Street; or the Arbor Youth Services MASH Drop Inn Emergency Shelter for children ages 17 and younger, 536 West Third Street.

The Catholic Action Center, 400 East Fifth Street, will be open 24 hours a day through Saturday, when officials will reevaluate the need for expanded hours based on the weather.

Also, these day centers will be open as regularly scheduled: Arbor Youth Services for youth 18 to 25 years old, 540 West Third Street, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; New Life Day Center, 224 North Martin Luther King Boulevard, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
