Saturday's Joe B. Hall Prep Classic postponed

The 24th annual Joe B. Hall Prep Classic, scheduled for Saturday at Montgomery County High School in Mount Sterling, has been postponed because of the forecast for bad weather.

Ira Combs, director of the Prep Classic, said the event will be rescheduled for sometime in February and a date will be announced next week.

The event featured five games involving nine teams ranked in the Top 25 of Dave Cantrall's Rating the State.

Included in the field were No. 2 Trinity, No. 4 Hopkinsville, No. 8 Holmes, No. 9 Wayne County, No. 11 Montgomery County, No. 12 Knott County Central, No. 15 Henry Clay, No. 20 Southwestern, No. 23 Perry County Central and unranked Fleming County.
