January 27, 2014

■ The Lexington office of D. Scott Neal Inc. has moved to 3292 Eagle View Lane, Suite 290, next to the Eagle Creek Branch of the Lexington Public Library, near St. Joseph East Hospital. The financial planning company's mailing address and phone numbers will remain the same: P.O. Box 2010, Lexington, KY 40588. Phone: (859) 254-3036 and 1-800-344-9098. For more info, visit the company's website at Dsneal.com.

■ In response to the explosive growth of the faith-based travel industry, Lexington-based NTA Services has created the Faith Travel Association. The membership trade organization will serve as a business-building resource for travel professionals, sites and organizations focused on faith-based travel. FTA will also provide connections, education and support for group leaders, religious leaders and travel agents who are planning trips for individuals or groups brought together by their faith or religious community.

Each year more than 300 million people of faith embark on trips around the world, adding $18 billion into the tourism economy. Some 50,000 churches and worship centers in the United States have travel programs for youth and adults, and FTA can facilitate connecting them with qualified travel professionals. For more information about FTA, visit Faithtravelassociation.com.

■ Clergy health and well-being are the focus of a new blog series via Lexington Theological Seminary's Ministry Life Choices Initiative. Each segment of the series will focus on an area of concern for clergy, including physical, emotional, spiritual and financial well-being. The MLCI will assist those in the first five years of ministry to develop habits and practices for sustainable ministry. To follow the blog series, go to Lextheo.edu/category/mlci_blog.

■ This fall Michael Kors will open in Fayette Mall. The store will be located in the north mall near the food court. Michael Kors, the brand, launched 30 years ago and offers two primary collections: the Michael Kors luxury collection and the MICHAEL Michael Kors accessible luxury collection. The Fayette Mall Michael Kors store will carry handbags, accessories, jewelry, shoes and clothing.
