Two men suffered non-life-threatening wounds in a shooting early Tuesday morning on a Lexington street, police said.

Multiple shots were fired in the street in the 150 block of Glenn Place about 5:30 a.m., Police Lt. Mark Brand said.

Brand said one victim was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.

The second man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital by a bystander who might have been a friend or relative of the victim, Brand said.

No names were released, and no arrests had been made as of about 8 a.m., according to Brand.

A vehicle on the street also was hit by gunfire, police said. It's unclear just what happened, they said.

"We're still talking with the victims, and trying to sort out what happened," Brand said. "It's unclear whether there was a previous relationship between them or whether this was a random event."
