Coroner: Lexington man's death to be investigated as a homicide

The death of a 54-year-old Lexington man found in a home on Silver Maple Way is being investigated as a homicide, according to a coroner's report issued Tuesday afternoon.

Glenn R. Sanford died of a gunshot wound, according to the coroner's report.

Sanford's body was found about 5 p.m. Monday. Silver Maple Way is a block-long street between East Fourth and East Fifth streets.
