Kentucky women to play in Paradise Jam next season

The University of Kentucky women's basketball team is headed to the Virgin Islands for Thanksgiving next season.

The Wildcats are scheduled to play in the 15th annual Paradise Jam from Nov. 27-29. UK will play in one of two tournaments that will feature four teams each. In addition to Kentucky, the schools invited are Clemson, Illinois, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Florida and Wichita State.

Games will be played at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas.

Kentucky's only previous Paradise Jam appearance was in 2004-05, under Coach Mickie DeMoss.
