Barker rolls perfect game in Southland league

Curby Barker paced another week affected by weather conditions. He rolled a perfect game in the James R. Wafford Memorial League at Collins Bowling Centers-Southland on Feb. 3. The score paced a 703 series.

Drew Buresh rolled a 290 in the Saturday youth league at Southland on Feb. 1. That was the highlight of a 691 series.

The 74th Greater Lexington USBC Open Tournament and the 69th Greater Lexington USBC Women's Tournament were scheduled to start Saturday.

Both events are being held at Southland Lanes and competition will continue Sunday and next weekend.
