Elle Fitness has opened its second Lexington location at South Elkhorn Village, 4371 Old Harrodsburg Road, Suite 170. The flagship studio is located off National Avenue. Elle Fitness offers the BarreAmped method created by Suzanne Bowen. The new location will offer childcare Monday through Friday during morning classes. The location's grand opening is scheduled for March 1.

Jeff K. Joiner, vice president and branch manager of FNB Investment Services, located at Farmers National Bank, 306 West Main Street, Danville, has been named a member of the 2014 Executive Council. Executive Council honors are presented financial advisers who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to clients through personal service and professional integrity.

Joiner, who joined Raymond James in 2007, has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has been employed with Farmers National Bank since 2004.

■ The Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce will announce the winners in the 10th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky competition at an awards dinner April 24 at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center.

This year is the first that the small/medium category has been divided, creating three categories — small companies of 15-149 employees, medium companies of 150-499 employees and large companies consisting of more than 500 employees.
