Business closings, openings and anniversaries: Week of Feb. 10

February 10, 2014

Wine and Canvas, a mobile party painting business, has opened in Lexington. Classes are held at restaurants, corporate table tops or in a customer's living room, and the concept is always the same — bringing together groups of friends to share wine, laughs and music while painting the night away. No artistic experience or talent is required.

Wine and Canvas provides brushes, canvas, paints, aprons and a local artist to provide step-by-step instructions. All attendees take home a 16x 20-inch gallery-wrapped painting. The cost is $35 per person.

For more information, go to Wineandcanvas.com or contact Kirsten Shusteric, franchise owner, at (859) 433-4844.
