Lex-Care: Mother of child with cancer needs help to pay electric bill

February 10, 2014

Ashley Gray, with Lifeline Home Health, is assisting a client who needs $344.83 to pay her Kentucky Utilities bill. The client is a single mother with four children, one of whom has been diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing treatments. The client has been forced to take time off from her job as a nurse to care for her child. While off work, she has been unable to keep up with her monthly bills and her electric bill has increased. The treatments for her child have ended, so the client will be able to return to work and pay future bills.
