Kentucky State Police are searching for a Nelson County woman who disappeared with her children after picking them up at school Jan. 31.

A custodial interference warrant has been issued for Rachel Lynn Madison, 42, according to the Elizabethtown state police post.

Police said Madison disappeared after picking up her sons, Jacob Cole Stone, 8, and Morgan Lee Stone, 6.

The children's father, who has primary custody, has had no contact with Madison or the children since then, state police said.

Madison might be driving a silver 2011 Honda Pilot with Indiana tag EN2348. She might be in the Nelson County area, the Louisville area, or Salem or Georgetown, state police said.

Both Madison and the children have been listed in the National Crime Information Center database, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Elizabethtown state police post at 270-766-5078 or contact local police.
