Lex-Care: Family of four needs help to pay mortgage

February 17, 2014

Beth Myers with the Mary Todd Elementary Family Resource Center is requesting $500 for a client to help with a mortgage payment. The client is a mother of two and works two jobs. Her husband was laid off and his unemployment benefits recently ended. Though her husband works side jobs to help with expenses, the family is having difficulty making ends meet this month.

After receiving assistance with their mortgage, the mortgage company will work with the family to get their bills caught up. The client's husband will continue searching for a job and they are expecting a tax refund that will also help with expenses. The family will be able meet their expenses after receiving assistance this month.
