New jeans collection offers range of sizes

The new Saint Honoré Jean Collection at White House Black Market includes the Girlfriend style, $88 at Whitehouseblackmarket.com.

White House Black Market has introduced the Saint Honoré Jean Collection. It features three leg styles: the Skinny, the Girlfriend and the Bootcut. Washes include dark, distressed and a sleek-coated finish. Details such as decorative stitching and angled pockets make for a flattering fit.

Sizes range from 00 to 16, in regular and petites. Prices range from $78 to $120. Shop at Lexington stores at Hamburg and The Mall at Lexington Green or go to Whitehouseblackmarket.com.

■ Artists Anne Kindl and Marianna McDonald have joined forces to open Pure Color Art Studio. They'll host an open house from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at their space in the lower level of ArtsPlace, 161 North Mill Street. Works by both artists, which include pastels and other mediums, will be discounted 15 percent.

■ The first Gallery Hop of the year is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. The free tour of area galleries also includes retailers offering special exhibits.

Among them is Mulberry & Lime, 216 North Limestone, where historic Ellis Island photographs by Lewis Hine will be on view. The exhibit, part of a larger collection, features immigrants arriving at Ellis Island around 1904.

Bella Rose, 126 West Maxwell Street, will host a Jim Hjelm Occasions trunk show featuring the spring 2014 collection or dress styles for bridesmaids, mother of the bride or groom, galas and proms. Also, check out the sample sale with select stock gowns 50 percent to 70 percent off.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. All orders placed during the show will be discounted 10 percent.

■ The 20th Century Cincinnati show of vintage modern arts, furniture and accessories is Saturday and Sunday at Sharonville Convention Center, 11355 Chester Road, Cincinnati.
