FRANKFORT — NFL tight end Jacob Tamme of the Denver Broncos is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the Governor's Prayer Breakfast next month in Frankfort.
Tamme, a Danville native, played college football at the University of Kentucky and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2008.
The March 13 event at the Frankfort Convention Center is to feature music, special readings and a "Kentucky Proud" breakfast. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. EST, and the program starts at 8 a.m.

Gov. Steve Beshear's office said the breakfast is a longstanding tradition and dates back to 1965. Representatives of all three branches of government are included in the nondenominational event.
