Danville police, responding to a domestic-violence call, arrested a man on multiple drug charges.

Officers went a home on Sanders Clay Circle about 11:30 Monday night.

Police said a man and a woman at the house told officers that they had been in an argument but that no criminal acts had occurred.

During the investigation, however, officers noticed signs of illegal drug activity, police said.

Officers arrested Cristian J. Cruz, 19, on various felony and misdemeanor drug charges.

Cruz is charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine, both felonies, and trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of synthetic drugs, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said they also confiscated a gun and money that belonged to Cruz.
