A third defendant pleaded not guilty to charges in the shooting death of a Lexington man last May.

Latasha Ramex Parks, 24, charged with facilitation to murder and being a persistent felony offender, entered not guilty pleas Friday through her attorney in Fayette Circuit Court.

Earlier in the week, Darryl William Stewart and Laseric DeShawn Givens pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges in the case.

The three are charged in the killing of Jered Taylor, 26, who died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police found Taylor badly wounded on the porch of a house in the 600 block of Carver Road about 10:40 p.m. May 25, 2013. Taylor died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital shortly afterward.
